FD30S Composite Fire Door Installations

Certified UKAS Fire Door Installers and City and Guilds Inspectors

Composite FD30S Fire Doors are purpose built composite doors, which have been tested against fire safety regulations and can withstand fire for a minimum of 30 minutes. Due to the life saving qualities of these doors, they should only really be installed by trained, qualified and experienced installers.

Our trained door installers have fitted thousands of Fire Doors over the years. Many of these jobs came to us as a result of the lease holders being  contacted by Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham City Councils to inform them that their current doors no longer meet the new fire safety regulations for their area.

As registered City & Guilds Fire Door Inspectors and UKAS Accredited FireQual FD30S Fire Door Installers, our team are able to self-certify our work from the survey to the completion of the installation.

The composite fire doors we install are all certified FD30 Fire Doors with smoke seals with intumescent strips and are tested by Warringtonfire and Certifire.

All of the fire doors we supply are tested bi-directionally (tested on both sides) to British Standard BS 476 :1987, parts 22 &31. Our externally rated fire doors are tested to EN1634 - 1. Our externally rated fire doors can also be fitted internally if needed.

Any work carried out by us will come with a full installation warranty and up to 10 years manufacturer's warranty.

The pricing for our Fire Doors fall into 3 categories: garage, internal and external.

They are typically used for:

  • Internal garage doors - between the garage and living area.
  • Internal flat entrance doors - separating your flat from a communal stairway or hallway.
  • External flat entrance doors - separating your flat from the outside elements.
  • External doors close to a property boundary.

For a fire door to be classed as an internal fire door, there must be another door between the door looking to be replaced and the outside elements.

The type of fire doors we offer, are not generally recommended for use between rooms inside of a property (for example, between a living room and front room).

All of the Fire Door installations we carry out, will be a full door set. This will include a new door, door frame, CE marked hinges, handles, locks, intumescent strips, smoke seals, an automatic overhead self-closer (concealed door closers are also available if requested). Additional options such as letter plates, door knockers, spy holes etc are also available (see the pricing below).

All of the fire doors we install come with a Warringtonfire Certifire certificate and a UKAS approved FireQual Fire Door installation certificate.

We can also offer Dual Certification, which would include PAS 24, Secured by Design certification. This is currently only available on externally rated fire doors, although our internally rated doors can be specified with the same security options, but it would just not include a secured by design certificate.

We can also carry out a City and Guilds Certified Fire Door Inspection. Prices start at £165 including VAT and may vary depending on location and the quantity of doors requiring inspection. (For more information please call us on 01623 325006.)

We offer 22 internally rated door designs. The base price for an internally rated fire door including installation and VAT starts from:
